DESCRIPTION OF CASE
The Plaintiff was a passenger in a New York City Transit Authority bus which collided with a flatbed truck as the bus made a right turn in front of the truck. The bus sustained extensive property damage and the truck sustained moderate property damage. The plaintiff was taken from the scene of the accident complaining of shoulder pain. At the emergency room the plaintiff additionally complained of back pain. The plaintiff underwent a substantial physical therapy treatment course but continued to have shoulder and back pain. Ultimately the plaintiff underwent two shoulder surgeries and two back surgeries. The plaintiff also underwent a knee surgery.
