Plaintiff was traveling north on Flatbush Ave. when, he claimed, Deft. Forrest, driving an 18 wheel tractor trailer south on Flatbush Ave., made a left turn from Flatbush Ave. onto Dean St. Pltf. Contended that Deft. Made his left turn unexpectedly and failed to use his left turn directional. Pltf,'s vehicle collided with the rear set of tires on the tractor-trailer.
INJURIES/DAMAGES
"Herniated lumbar disc at L4-5; torn medical meniscus of the right knee. Pltf. Underwent a medical and lateral meniscectomy in April 1996. Pltf. returned to work from May 1996 until January 1998, at which time he underwent a bilateral decompressive laminotomy/facetectomy at L4-5."
