Buncombe Co worker dies in construction accident

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Federal officials are investigating the death of a man who was installing a manhole in Asheville. Authorities say 45-year-old John Mark Crowe of Fletcher died Monday when a backhoe struck him on the head and shoulders.
