DESCRIPTION OF CASE
Plaintiff, a mechanic in the course of his employment was test driving a customer's mini van northbound on the Henry Hudson Highway when the accident occurred. As Plaintiff approached the 72nd Street exit he was struck in the rear by the school bus operated by the defendant.
INJURIES/DAMAGES
Plaintiff was diagnosed with a mild disc bulge resulting in narrowing of the ventral epidural space and spondylosis. The plaintiff underwent a decompressive laminotomy/facetectomy of the lumbar spine with intra-operative findings of nerve root compression at L4-5.
