DESCRIPTION OF CASE
Plaintiff presented to Methodist Hospital and was diagnosed with kidney stones. After undergoing placement of a J-stent, Plaintiff left the hospital against medical advice. Approximately six months later, Plaintiff went to Lutheran Medical Center where she ultimately underwent removal of the kidney due to infection. Plaintiff claimed that Defendants failed to advise her that she required follow up treatment.
INJURIES/DAMAGES
Kidney stones resulting in infection, requiring removal of kidney.
VERDICT/SETTLEMENT AMOUNT
