DESCRIPTION OF CASE
The Plaintiff a then 29 year old homemaker and mother of 2 was involved in a collision when a vehicle made a u-turn in front of her vehicle. There was very minimal property damage done to the Plaintiff's vehicle. She declined medical attention at the scene of the accident when it was offered to her by the responding police officer. She followed up later that evening by driving herself to an emergency room where she complained of back pain, specifically denying neck pain. Twelve days later the Plaintiff followed up with a physician and complained of neck and back pain. She ultimately underwent both neck and back surgery, from which she made an excellent recovery.
