Plaintiff is a thirty-eight year old Service Inspector for the City of New York
DESCRIPTION OF CASE
Plaintiff was involved in two motor vehicle accidents within a four month period of time. In June 2008 Plaintiff's vehicle was struck by another vehicle that was backing up in traffic. In October 2008, Plaintiff struck a truck that made a left turn in front of Plaintiff's vehicle.
DAMAGES
As a result of the June 2008 accident, Plaintiff suffered neck and back pain. The October 2008 accident resulted in a worsening of the Plaintiff's spine complaints and resulted in injuries to his left wrist, left hand, left knee and left ankle. Plaintiff required multiple surgical procedures due to his injuries.
SETTLEMENT
The matter settled for $1,025,000 before a trial date was selected. The settlement was for the entirety of all available policies of insurance.
